Webometrics Ranking : RU tops among Bangladeshi universities

Rajshahi University (RU) has secured the top position among Bangladeshi universities in the 2025 Webometrics Ranking, published in January.
The ranking evaluates over 31,000 universities from 200+ countries based on teaching, research impact, technological innovation, and societal contributions.
RU ranks 1,422nd globally, improving from third place nationally in January 2024 and second in July 2024.
RU Vice-Chancellor Professor Saleh Hasan Nakib congratulated faculty, researchers, and students, attributing the success to their collective efforts. He expressed confidence in further achievements and global recognition for RU.
