Bijoy Ekattor Hall and Shamsun Nahar Hall crowned champions in DU inter-hall volleyball competition

Bijoy Ekattor Hall and Shamsun Nahar Hall emerged champions in the Dhaka University inter-hall volleyball competition. Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall and Rokeya Hall were the runners-up in the male group and female group, respectively. Tanvir Hossain of Bijoy Ekattor Hall and Mosa. Sampa Akhter of Shamsun Nahar Hall were selected as the best players in the male group and female group, respectively.
After the competition, Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan was present as the chief guest at a function held at the central playground on Thursday and distributed prizes among the winners.
The award distribution ceremony was presided over by DU Volleyball Committee President Dr Md Belal Hossain and it was attended by SM Zakaria, the acting director of the Physical Education Center, as well as the principals of various halls, residential teachers and students.
It is worth noting that 13 halls for boys and 5 halls for girls participated in the separate competitions.
