Viqarunnisa students stage protest demanding resignation of Math teacher

Students of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College in Azimpur branch staged demonstration on Sunday demanding punishment and resignation of Math teacher Murad Hossain Sarker for sexual harassment.
The guardians also joined with them. The students alleged that the teacher have been sexually harassing them for years. They want permanent resignation of this teacher.
They took to the street of Pilkhana road at noon and staged demonstration there.
Guardians said their children are not safe under Murad Hossain.They want exemplary punishment of the teacher as soon as possible.
Amid protest, Shabnaz Sultana Kamal, acting vice-principal of Azimpur Branch of the school, was present there and ensured them of taking action against Murad.
"Murad Hussain Sarkar has been attached to the Principal's office. And legal action will be taken against him," she said.
Shabnaz Sultana said, "The school authorities informed me through a letter that Murad Hossain has been removed from this branch and attached to the principal's office as allegation against him was proved and to keep the school environment calm."
"We talked to the vicim's family getting the allegation."
