DU organizes workshop on 'Spring School on Business and HR ' for first time

A five-day workshop on Spring School on Business and Human Rights, organized by the Center on Budget and Policy (CBP) of Dhaka University, began on Monday at the auditorium of the Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD) in Cumilla.
Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University, Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan, inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest.
The event is being organized with the support of the German development agency GIZ, the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Embassy of Denmark in Bangladesh, the Swedish government, and the Initiative for Global Solidarity (IGS).
In his speech as the chief guest, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan emphasized the importance of education and research in raising awareness on business and human rights and promoting responsible business practices.
