Violence of floating hawkers controlled by Fruit Association in Chakaria Municipality!

The Chakaria Municipality's campaign of a few hours of public display ended. On June 18, 2026, only a few floating hawkers and a few shanty shops on the sidewalks of the municipality, including the Girls' School Road, were evicted during the day from the numerous roads controlled by the Fruit Association. As per the previous rules, the hawkers occupied the sidewalks for a few hours during the day, just as they did during the night.
On June 19, 2026, it was seen that the situation was exactly the same throughout Chakaria Municipality.
As a result, the row upon row of floating shops began to light up and the business began to flourish again, to the suffering of the common people.
However, without any rights, these dishonest hawkers, showing their thumbs to the administration under the umbrella of their big brothers, have once again taken over the roads, towns and sidewalks and are busy with their fathers' floating business and commerce.
The reporter does not know why it seems that the entire Chakaria Municipality and Chakaria Upazila are without guardians. The Chiringa Highway connection in Chakaria Municipality starts from Kachan Bazar in front of the Government Girls' School to Osan City Market and Chakaria Municipality Office, in the middle of the road, the residential women's college, Shaheed Minar Bijoy Manch and Korak Vidyapeeth, along with the army camp.
Due to this, the suffering is extreme for school and college-going students, teachers' guardians. On the other hand, the high-ranking officials traveling to the office area and various important institutions including army officers and members of the defense department, businessmen and vehicles of all levels. Sources claim that these floating hawkers are the source of many robbers, motorcycle thieves and terrorists in the city. Many people are constantly complaining that they create a mob and beat up the buyers at the moment of buying and selling fruits and loot everything. Apart from that, eight or ten floating hawkers also hold a buyer hostage in case the price is not right.
Again, the source of numerous incidents of insulting someone by using abusive language when they want a product at a low price remains undisclosed. If this continues, after a few days, these unscrupulous fruit traders and floating hawkers will start building two-storied houses on the roads and sidewalks, occupying the space of the hut shops and settling here at any time. Many say that if they do not get political support, the illegal floating hawkers under the control of these fruit associations will never get the opportunity to do business on the roads or sidewalks.
After the tourist city of Cox's Bazar district, Chakaria municipal town is one of the most important cities. The current junction of Matarbari coal power plant and Maheshkhali Govir sea port is Chakaria town. Now is the time. All the visible shanty shops and illegal floating hawkers that are being suppressed in these illegal ways should be strictly suppressed. Otherwise, major incidents may occur in the future.
