Terrible fire broke out in Rangpur city

A terrible fire broke out at the Bhorsa Group's coil factory and tobacco Store in the Tajhat area of Rangpur city. Five units of the fire service brought the fire under control at 2:15 pm on Wednesday after 11 hours of efforts at the scene.
Witnesses said the fire broke out around 3 am on Wednesday. Tobacco and other goods worth Crores of taka were destroyed in the fire.
Employees of the Bhorsa Group said that the fire started inside the godown around 3 am and spread to the entire Store within a moment. They claimed that the fire was caused by an electrical short circuit.
Deputy Director of Rangpur Fire Service Anwarul Haque said that after receiving the news of the fire around 3 am, two units first arrived and tried to put out the fire. But when the flames spread to the entire Store and the area, five units, including three more units, brought the fire under control after 11 hours of efforts.
