Narail District Bar Assoc : President Tarikuzzaman Litu, Secretary Tuhin

Tariquzzaman Litu and Newaz Mahmud Tuhin have won the Narail District Bar Association election for the post of President and General Secretary respectively .
The election was held on Thursday (January 30) from 10 am to 3:30 pm in a festive atmosphere at Building No. 1 of the District Bar Association. A total of 154 voters participated in the election. 145 people cast their votes.
Advocate Md. Tarikuzzaman Litu was elected as the President with 69 votes. His nearest rival Md. Iqbal Hossain Sikder received 68 votes. Another candidate Santosh Kumar Biswas received 8 votes.
Advocate Newaz Mahmud Tuhin was elected as the General Secretary with 84 votes. His nearest rival Israfil Khabir Raju received 60 votes.
Adv B.M. Matiur Rahman was elected as the Vice-President with 86 votes. His nearest rival Shariful Islam Titu got 55 votes.
Adv Md. Tutul Sikder was elected as the Vice-General Secretary with 85 votes. His nearest rival Mishkatir Rahman Sajeeb got 69 votes.
Advocate Imrul Hasan Sonnet was elected as the Library Secretary with 87 votes. His nearest rival Riazul Islam Khan got 54 votes.
Besides, Shimul Fakir, Zahidul Islam Prince, SM Iqbal Hossain, Najatun Nesa (Mukti), and Mileena Khanam were elected as the Executive Members.
Adv Uttam Kumar Ghosh was the Election Commissioner for the District Bar Association elections. He announced the results at 6 pm after the counting of votes. Ujjwal Roy, District Representative from Narail.
