Special program to sell products at affordable prices in Rangamati town

On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Rangamati District Administration has introduced a special facility to purchase goods at affordable prices without any kind of card. The common people can buy four types of goods without a TCB card or NID card.
From Wednesday morning, goods are being sold at a rate of 450 taka per package at five points in Rangamati city. In this, a consumer can buy 2 kg lentils, 2 liters of soybean oil, 1 kg sugar and 1 kg chickpeas.
According to district administration sources, the first 400 consumers at each point will be able to purchase products. This truck sale program will continue until March 22, except for Fridays and government holidays. This sale program will continue at a total of 15 points in the district city.
Rangamati Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rifat Asma inspected all these programs. He said that many low-income people do not have TCB cards, apart from them, the first 400 consumers will be able to purchase products. This program has ended smoothly on the first day.
After standing in line for a long time, the general public is excited to receive the products.
