Boalia Model Police recovered 2- kg marijuana, one held

The Boalia Model Police Station Police of the Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) arrested a person with two -kg of marijuana during a raid in Boalia Police Station area of Rajshahi metropolis.
Arrested accused Md. Johnny (40) is the son of Md. Bachchu Sheikh of Panchabati area of Boalia Model Police Station of Rajshahi metropolis.
According to the incident source, on the night of March 4, 2025, a team of Boalia Model Police Station under the overall supervision of Md. Riazul Islam, Deputy Police Commissioner of Boalia Crime Division of RMP, was conducting a drug recovery operation and warrant Tamil duty in the police station area. During this time, they came to know based on secret information that he was selling marijuana at his house in the Panchabati area of Boalia Police Station.
In view of the said news, SI Md. Ali Akbar Akand of Boalia Model Police Station and his team conducted a raid in the Panchabat area of Boalia Police Station at 6:15 am today, March 5, 2025 and arrested the accused Johnny with 2 kg of marijuana.
A case was registered against the arrested accused at Boalia Model Police Station under the Narcotics Act.
