Shakib ecstatic after joining Sheikh Jamal for two years

Talismanic all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan said on Saturday that he is happy to be part of Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited to feature in the upcoming two editions of the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League.
Sheikh Jamal earlier roped in Shakib for the next two editions of the traditional List A tournament of the country.
“I’m very happy to be part of this team. I’m hoping that we will be champions in the next two years and we will try to bring this success for the whole team,” he said.
Shakib came to Sheikh Jamal Club premises on the day to be part of the inauguration of its newly built indoor facility. The ‘Members Night’ programme was attended by Bashundhara Group Vice-Chairman, T-Sports Chairman and Managing Director, Rangpur Riders Chief Patron and Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Ltd President Safwan Sobhan Tasvir.
“I hope that Sheikh Jamal will work for these little kids and that is the reason they opened the indoor. They will have better training facilities and many cricketers from here will represent Bangladesh on the world map,” Shakib concluded.
