
Rangpur High School Eid Cricket Festival successfully ends

The Eid Cricket Festival-2025 was successfully concluded on Friday with the alumni of Rangpur High School on the occasion of the Holy Eid-Ul-Fitr.
The four-day cricket tournament, which was going on with great fanfare at the local Rangpur Stadium, ended with the distribution of prizes in the presence of the current and alumni of Rangpur High School. The ceremony was presided over by the chairman of Rangpur Volunteer organization 'Banglar Chokh', Haji Tanbiruzzaman Ashrafi, and presided over by the prominent industrialist, chairman of Rangpur Royalty Mega Mall and the best taxpayer of the last six years, Rangpur High School alumni Alhaj Touhid Hossain. Rangpur District Football Association President Manjur Ahmed Azad was present as the chief guest at the distribution of prizes.
Prominent industrialist, President of RAMC Shopping Complex Md. Joynal Abedin, Headmaster of Rangpur High School Md. Mofiz Uddin Sarkar, Senior Joint Convener of Rangpur Metropolitan Juba Dal Md. Zahir Alaom Nayan, Member Secretary of Rangpur District Sechchhasebok Dal Md. Zakaria Islam Jim, prominent social worker Md. Azizil Islam Aziz and prominent businessman Md. Noor Arefin Suman was present as special guests at the event.
In the tournament, 2003 batch became the champion in Group A, the runner-up was 2002 and the man of the match was Rajib of 2003 batch. Similarly, in Group B, the 2019 batch became the champion, the runner-up was 2011 batch and the man of the match was Rakib of 2019 batch.
It is to be noted that all the champion and runner-up teams in the Eid Cricket Festival donated the prize money they received to Rangpur High School.
