Satkhira Zila Parishad Administrator Habibul Islam Habib distributes 80 bicycles among meritorious students in Tala

Satkhira Zila Parishad has distributed 80 bicycles free of cost among 80 meritorious students of eight educational institutions in Tala Upazila of Satkhira. The bicycles were handed over to the students at the Tala Brojen De Government High School grounds on Wednesday.
Satkhira Zila Parishad Administrator and former MP Habibul Islam Habib was present as the chief guest at the event and distributed bicycles among the students. At the time, he said that students should study hard and play an important role in the development of the country and the nation. At the same time, he urged the students to stay away from mobile phone misuse, online gambling and drugs.
The program was presided over by District Council Executive Officer SM Mahfuzur Rahman and conducted by Sudhansh Sarkar, senior teacher of Tala Brojen De Government High School.
Patkelghata Police Station OC Tofazzel Hossain spoke at the event.
Tala Upazila BNP President Mrinal Kanti Roy, General Secretary Principal Shafiqul Islam, Upazila BNP Joint Secretary Professor Mosharraf Hossain, Tala Brojen Dey Government High School Headmaster Akhtaruzzaman Khan and Kumira Multipurpose Secondary School Headmaster Shafiqul Islam.
Teachers from various educational institutions, political figures, public representatives, journalists, and students were present at the event.
The eight educational institutions that received bicycles are Kumira Multipurpose Secondary School, Shahid Ali Ahmed Government Girls' High School, Patkelghata Adarsh Multipurpose High School, Jalalpur Secondary School, HMS Secondary School, Subhashini Secondary School, Khalilnagar Union Secondary School and Tala Brazen De Government High School.
