A reception was held in honour of Shahidul Islam Mridha, Member No. 2 of the Munshiganj District BNP Convening Committee and President of the Srinagar Upazila BNP.

The event was organized by the BNP-affiliated and allied organizations of the Birpara Union BNP in Srinagar Upazila.

Additionally, in the newly announced district committee, Sheikh Md. Abdullah holds the position of Member No. 1. He is responsible for the organizational activities of Munshiganj-1 (Srinagar-Sirajdikhan) and also serves as the President of the Sirajdikhan Upazila BNP.The reception ceremony was held on Friday afternoon at Birpara Bazar.

The event was chaired by Md. Swadhin Mollah, Joint Secretary of Srinagar Upazila BNP and President of Birpara Union BNP, while it was conducted by Nazrul Islam Nadim, Youth Affairs Secretary of Srinagar Upazila BNP and Senior Vice-President of Birpara Union BNP.Among those present were Srinagar Upazila BNP Joint General Secretary Jahirul Islam Mamun, Sirajdikhan Upazila BNP Office Secretary Ahidul Islam (holding joint secretary status), Police Station BNP member Md. Motaleb Hossain, Senior Vice-President of Patabhog Union BNP Md. Mojibur Rahman, Srinagar Upazila Jubo Dal leaders Md. Motahar Hossain, Mahitul Islam, Shahidul Islam, Sayeed Mollah, Sohag Bhuiyan, along with Jubo Dal members Babu, Monir, Jahangir, and Sohel.

Representatives from the Chhatra Dal included Bepari Farid Rana, Azmir, and Shuvo, while the Krishak Dal was represented by Minar, Anwar, and Faruq. The Tati Dal was represented by Abdur Samad.During the event, a large number of men, women, and elderly individuals from various wards of Srinagar Upazila and Birpara Union joined the gathering in processions. The attendees listened attentively to the speech of the chief guest and pledged to follow his guidance and directives.
