Terrorist attack on Puja Udjajan Front General Secretary in Kalapara, one arrested

Debashish Sikder Kalar (42), the general secretary of the Upazila Puja Udjavan Front, was attacked by terrorists in Kalapara, Patuakhali. The attack took place on the road adjacent to Kalapara Women's College on Friday afternoon.
That night, Debashish Sikder Kala filed a case with the police station, accusing Khokon Mondal (48), his brother Dulal Mondal (42) and 4-5 other unidentified people as the plaintiff.
Injured Debashish Sikder Kala said that a case was going on with one of his relatives regarding a land dispute between Khokon Mandal and his brother Dulal Mandal. Due to this, Khokon Mandal hit him with an iron rod. At that time, Debashish Sikder Kala said that he was going to vote in the Kalapara Port Traders Association elections at the Mahila College auditorium.
In this regard, Dulal Mandal said that there is a land dispute with them. As a result, there has been a scuffle between both sides.
Kalapara Police Station Sub-Inspector Md. Shahidul Islam said that one person has been arrested and efforts are underway to arrest the other culprits.
