Two officers are tirelessly performing their duties to maintain law and order and traffic discipline in Lakshmipur district headquarters. They are:
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Lakshmipur Model Police Station: Mohammad Wahid Parvez and Traffic Inspector (Administration): Kamruzzaman.
TI (Administration) Kamruzzaman is working day and night to resolve traffic congestion, restore order on the roads and ensure safe movement in the city. He is regularly seen in the field improving traffic management on the busiest roads.
On the other hand, Lakshmipur Model Police Station OC Wahid Parvez is working tirelessly to maintain the overall law and order situation in the district. He has taken a strict stance in suppressing various crimes including theft, robbery, drug dealing, and juvenile gangs. In addition, regular operations and public awareness activities are also ongoing to prevent crime.
According to locals, OC Wahid Parvez listens to the complaints and problems of the common people with great importance. He is sincere in ensuring that the helpless and poor people get police assistance easily. When necessary, he calls the complainants to his office and takes the initiative to resolve them quickly.
