Rasel has no two hands. The right leg is absent, the left leg is present, again much shorter than normal. Rasel Mridha, a severely disable person who participated in the Alim exam with a pen between his toes and passed.

Rasel has passed the Alim exam this year from Sholakura Islamia Alim Madrasa in Singra Upazilla of Natore with a GPA of 3.29. Principal of the institution Maulana Md. Motarraf Hossain confirmed the matter.

Rasel Mridha is the son of Abdur Rahim Mridha, a day labourer of Sholakura Mohalla in Singra Town. Despite the poverty, his poor parents did not give up seeing Rasel's passion for studies. He had earlier cleared Junior Dakhil Certificate Examination and Dakhil Examination.

Rasel Mridha said, I am very happy that Alim has passed. My parents contributed the most to my education. Beside them, the teachers also helped me. I want to serve country and nation by getting educated in Higher Education .

Rasel Mridha's father Abdur Rahim Mridha Said, seeing his son's interest in Education , he is studying by working as a daily wage. One day the son will brighten our face by learning Education . We are very pleased with the results. Even if it is difficult, I want to educate my son in higher education. The only demand to the government is to provide employment to Russell by giving him a government job after his education.

Principal of Sholakura Islamia Alim Madrasah Maulana Md.Motarraf Hossain Said , Rasel Mridha participated in the Alim exam from my institution and passed with merit. He has also passed the previous exams with merit.

The Principal requested everyone to pray for Rasel Mridha to become established and serve the country and the nation after his studies.
