HPV Vaccination Campaign opens at Lalmohan

Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) Immunization Campaign has been inaugurated in Lalmohan through the immunization of 5th class girls. This campaign was inaugurated on Thursday morning at 11 am by Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Municipal Administrator Md Touhidul Islam at Lalmohan High School adjacent to the government primary school. Taibur Rahman, Upazila Academic Supervisor Madan Mohan Mondal, Assistant Primary Education Officer Indrajit Debnath, Youth Development Officer Khalilur Rahman Emon, Social Service Officer Md. Masud Alam, Municipal Secretary. Arif Hossain, member of the upazila sports organization Zahidul Islam Noman, Naznin Sultana, head teacher of the government primary school attached to the high school and others attended the event.
It is known that this program will be given to girls from October 24 to November 7 at the educational level and at the community level from November 9 to November 18.
It is to be noted that 19 thousand 677 girls will get HPV vaccination to prevent cervical cancer in Lalmohan Upazila of Bhola and 18 thousand 862 girls of 5th to 9th grade of 370 educational institutions of different levels in Lalmohan Upazila and 815 girls aged 10 to 14 years of community level will get this HPV vaccination.
