PWD officials pay tributes to July martyrs in C'nawabganj

The Public Works Department (PWD), Chapainawabganj, paid solemn tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the July 2024 Mass Uprising.
On Wednesday (August 5) at 9:00 a.m., Executive Engineer Amit Kumar Dev laid a floral wreath at the July Martyrs' Memorial located at the Food Office premises in Chapainawabganj district town, honoring the martyrs of the uprising.
Engineers, officials, and employees of the department also attended the ceremony. They observed a moment of silence and offered prayers for the eternal peace of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the movement for democratic rights.
Speaking after the tribute, Executive Engineer Amit Kumar Dev said the nation would forever remember the sacrifices of the July Mass Uprising martyrs with profound respect.
He added that their sacrifices would continue to inspire Bangladesh's democratic progress and the establishment of a just and equitable society.
