The management committee of the district branch of Bangladesh Shishu Academy in Bogura has been reconstituted.

The district commissioner has been made the president and the police superintendent the vice-president of the new committee. Abul Kalam Azad, General Secretary of Bogura Press Club, has been elected as a member of the committee.
This information was given in a letter dated September 28 from the Bogura district office of Bangladesh Shishu Academy. It said that in view of the instructions of the Prime Minister's Office and the decision of the Board of Management meeting of Bangladesh Shishu Academy, a new committee has been formed to manage the activities of the district branch smoothly.
The committee has been chaired by the Deputy Commissioner and learned District Magistrate Md. Taufiqur Rahman. The Superintendent of Police and Additional Deputy Commissioner have been made vice-chairmen.
The members of the committee include the District Education Officer, District Primary Education Officer, Deputy Director of the Department of Social Services, Deputy Director of the Department of Women's Affairs, District Sports Officer, Headmaster of Bogra District School and Headmaster of Bogra Government Girls' High School.
Apart from this, Nazma Akhter, Abul Kalam Azad and Advocate Palash Sarkar are nominated members. The District Child Affairs Officer will serve as the member secretary of the committee.
The new committee will be responsible for managing the activities of the Bogura district branch of Bangladesh Shishu Academy in the education, culture, creativity and talent development of children.
