Social organization Chesta provides humanitarian aid to Faridpur High Care School

Voluntary social organization "Chesta" distributed humanitarian assistance and educational materials to special-needs students at High Care School in the Kamalapur area of Faridpur town.
The aid distribution ceremony took place on the school premises at 11:00 AM on Monday.
Registered under the Department of Women Affairs in 2011, Chesta has worked for marginalized communities, underprivileged citizens, and female freedom fighters of 1971. During Monday's event, Chesta handed over two bundles of corrugated iron sheets for school facility repairs alongside toys for the children.
Simultaneously, the Rotary Club of Dhaka Sarbojoya provided cash assistance and nutritious food packages to the students, while a joint initiative by Chesta and "Dhaka Shekor" planted 20 fruit-bearing and timber saplings on the school grounds.
The event was attended by Chesta President Laila Naznin Harun, Secretary Gulshan Nasreen Chowdhury, High Care School Founder Rashida Akhtari Khanam, Rotary Club of Dhaka Sarbojoya President Sakera Khan, and Dhaka Shekor Admin Nasima Zaman.
Speaking at the function, Chesta President Laila Naznin Harun emphasized that supporting children with special needs is a moral imperative, while Secretary Gulshan Nasreen Chowdhury affirmed that persons with disabilities deserve love and social inclusion. High Care School Founder Rashida Akhtari Khanam expressed gratitude to the visiting organizations, stating that such support motivates special-needs students to progress forward in society.
