PSTU archives first place in Circular Economy Entrepreneurship Prog

Patuakhali University of Science and Technology team archived the first place in Circular Economy Entrepreneurship Programme funded by EMK Center organized by The Earth.
Kuakata Beige Youth Empowerment called Green Horizon disclosed this at Patuakhali District Commissioner's Conference Room at 11 am on Monday.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Patuakhali District Jadav Sarkar, Patuakhali District Magistrate Abu Hasnat Mohranmad Arafin, Executive Director of The Earth Mohammad Mamun Miah, volunteer organizations and students of various local educational institutions were present in the meeting.
The PSTU team led by Tanjid Hasan Jisan, a student of Patuakhali University of Science and Technology, Faculty of Business Administration won the first place in today's event. The winning team is working in Kuakata, one of the tourist centers of the country, with the slogan "Plastic free sea water, Kuakata will be clean".
The winning team leader Tanjid Hasan Jisan said, "About 25 kg of plastic waste is generated from Kuakata every day. Our main objective is to make Kuakata an eco-friendly tourist center by preventing plastic pollution.
Nirmal will essentially build a strong supply chain network for plastic waste management. Part of the income received through the sale of these plastic items will reach hotel managers, plastic traders and volunteers through the app. We need the full cooperation of all relevant authorities including the local government to fully implement this initiative.
