One arrested with a shotgun in the operation of the joint forces!

On Saturday (November 9) at around 5:00 PM, in a joint operation by the army and the police 01 domestically made firearms (shotguns), 01 rounds of empty shells, 01 knives, 01 pieces of yaba and Tk 640 in cash were recovered from Balikhola Ghat area and Md. Shaheen Alam (30) was arrested.
The arrested Shaheen Alam is the son of Ratan Mia of Murikandi village of Niamatpur union.
Officer-in-charge of Karimganj police station Mohammad Shahab Uddin confirmed the arrest and said that such operations will continue to recover illegal weapons and drugs.
