Jointly organized by Mymensingh Medical College (MMC) and the Bangladesh Society of Medicine (Mymensingh Branch), the discussion took place on September 12 at 9:00 am at the MMC Zia Auditorium. MMC Principal Professor Dr. Mostafa Zahid Kamal chaired the session, while Department of Medicine Professor Dr. Mohammad Emdad Ullah Khan delivered the keynote address.

Key speakers included Mymensingh Medical College Hospital Deputy Director Dr. Md. Zakiul Islam, MMC Vice-Principal Professor Dr. Md. Badar Uddin, MMC Medicine Department Head Professor Dr. Md. The program was co-moderated by Dr. Sadia Farzana and Dr. Lutfe Jannat Leena.

Panelists emphasized the urgency of vector control, rapid clinical diagnosis, and heightened public vigilance against mosquito-borne infections.
