Monthly law, order meeting held in Rangamati

A monthly law and order meeting has been organized by the district administration in Rangamati.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain Khan presided over the law and order meeting at the Deputy Commissioner's conference room at 10 am on Monday.
In the meeting, the overall law and order situation of the district, terrorism and vandalism, women and child abuse, sexual harassment, child marriage and evictions, health services of the district, drugs, banned polythene, polythene bag ban and the overall law and order system of the district were discussed.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner said, Rangamati district is the largest hilly district of the country surrounded by Kaptai Lake, full of natural beauty of mountains. We will discuss with the concerned authorities, carry out tests and surveys and decide to declare Rangamati city as a clean air city with proper understanding of the natural environment of Rangamati.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain Khan said in the meeting, the three golden girls of the hills, Ritu-Rupana and Monika, are our pride. These meritorious children of Rangamati will be given a colorful reception on November 23.
Superintendent of Police Dr. SM Farhad Hossain was present in the meeting among others. Civil Surgeon Dr. Nuyen Khisa, Rangamati Road Division Executive Engineer Sabuj Chakma, Resort Owners Association President Tanay Dewan, LGED Directorate Executive Engineer Ahmed Shafi, Rangamati Sadar Upazila UNO Rifat Asma, Rangamati Nanyarchar Upazila UNO Aminul, Deputy Director of District Social Services Directorate Md. Omar Farooq, Deputy Director of District Islami Foundation Md. Iqbal Bahar Chowdhury along with various officials and employees of the district were present.
