Mizanur Akhand detained in Mirzaganj with 23 Yaba pills, 20 grams of cannabis

Police from Mirzaganj Police Station have detained a young man named Mizanur Akhsnd with 23 Yaba pills and 20 grams of cannabis in the Manoharkhali area of Mirzaganj, Patuakhali.
According to police station sources, acting under the orders of OC Md. Touhiduzzaman, a team comprising SI Kawsar Ahmed, ASI Salauddin, and ASI Md. Masud Rana all attached to Mirzaganj Police Station, conducted a special operation involving the execution of arrest warrants and drug recovery efforts. During this operation, they arrested Mizanur Akhand son of Md. Abdul Majid Akon of Manoharkhali village under No. 2 Mirzaganj Union and seized 23 Yaba tablets and 20 grams of cannabis found in his possession.
A case has been registered at Mirzaganj Police Station regarding this incident (FIR No. 12, dated September 12, 2026; GR No. 127, dated September 12, 2026; Time: 00:20) under Sections 36(1) Table 10(a) and 36(1) Table 19(a) of the Narcotics Control Act, 2018.
