Massive BNP rally in Sandwip

As per the instructions of BNP Acting Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman, a day-long mass mobilization and leaflet distribution program was held in Ward No. 5 of Sarikait Union of Sandwip Upazila led by Engineer Belayet Hossain, a potential candidate for Chittagong-3 (Sandwip) constituency and former joint convener of Chittagong North District BNP.
This mass mobilization program lasted from morning till night on October 9. During this time, local leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliates went door to door to seek votes in favor of rice sheaves and distributed leaflets among the public on the party's 31-point state structure reform program.
Engineer Belayet Hossain said, "Rice sheaves are a symbol of the people's hope and restoration of democracy. We all have to unite to restore the people's voting rights and re-establish democracy in the country.
Leaders and activists of various organizations including local BNP, Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal, Chhatra Dal participated.
