LGED officials pay tribute to July Martyrs in C'nawabganj

The Local Government Engineering Department (LGED), Chapainawabganj, paid solemn tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the July 2024 Mass Uprising.
On Wednesday at 9:00 a.m., Md. Harun-or-Rashid, Executive Engineer of LGED, Chapainawabganj, laid a floral wreath at the July Martyrs' Memorial located at the Food Office premises in the district town in honor of the fallen heroes.
Officials and employees of the department also attended the ceremony. They observed a moment of silence in memory of the martyrs and offered prayers for the eternal peace of those who sacrificed their lives in the movement for democratic rights.
Speaking after the tribute, Executive Engineer Md. Harun-or-Rashid said the nation would always remember the sacrifices of the martyrs of the July Mass Uprising with profound respect.
