July Martyrs' Day-2026 was celebrated with due dignity and various programs in Dinajpur. On the occasion of the day, wreath-laying at the July Martyrs' Memorial, discussion meetings, and special prayers were organized for the forgiveness of the souls of the martyrs.

On Thursday morning, Deputy Commissioner Md. Rafiqul Islam, Superintendent of Police Zedan Al Musa, District Council Administrator Adv Mofazzal Hossain Dulal, District BNP General Secretary Bakhtiar Ahmed Kochi, officials and employees of various government and private departments, and teachers and students of various educational institutions in the city paid tribute to the martyrs by placing flowers at the July Martyrs' Memorial Monument established adjacent to Dinajpur Gymnasium.

Later, a discussion meeting was held in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner on the occasion of July Martyrs' Day-2026.

The discussion meeting was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Md. Rafiqul Islam and was addressed by Police Superintendent Zedan Al Musa, District Council Administrator and District BNP President Advocate Mofazzal Hossain Dulal, District Council Chief Executive Officer Makhlesur Rahman, Acting Civil Surgeon Dr. Golam Rasul Rakhi, District Muktijoddha Sangsad Convener Mukshed Ali Mangalia, District Secondary Education Officer Alauddin Al Azad, eminent Alem-e-Deen Maulana Matiur Rahman Qasemi, District JASAS Convener Akhtaruzzaman Akhtar, July Shaheed Suman Patwari's father, July Shaheed Rudra's father Sabir Chandra, student representative Meshkat Arefin Shakil, District Jubo Dal Joint Convener Farizar Rahman Topu and "We are July Fighters" District Branch Convener Md. Shahin and others.
