Introduction meeting of new committee of Bhuyapur Secondary Teachers Assoc held

Tangail's Bhuyapur Upazila Secondary Teachers' Association held an introductory meeting of the new committee and distribution of checks of the Retired Teaching Staff's Honor and Welfare Trust.
The meeting was held on Sunday afternoon at Zaman Shishu Park, adjacent to Bhuyapur Municipal Area Teachers' Association. BNP Central Executive Committee Publicity Secretary Sultan Salahuddin Tuku was present as the chief guest.
Under the chairmanship of Bhuyapur Secondary Teachers Association and Thana BNP General Secretary Selimuzzaman Talukdar Selu, Thana BNP President Advocate Golam Mostafa, Gopalpur Thana BNP President Jahangir Alam Rubel, Bhuyapur Thana Police Officer in-charge SM Rezaul Karim, Tangail District Jubo Dal convener Khandkar Rashedul Alam, Former organizing secretary of district BNP Shafiqur Rahman Khan Shafiq along with head teachers, assistant teachers and staff of various educational institutions.
In the speech of the chief guest, he said that education is the backbone of the nation. Martyr President Ziaur Rahman worked to improve the quality of education with the goal that the more educated the nation is, the more advanced the nation is. Party chairperson Khaleda Zia defunded the education system on coming to power. And the last fascist government brought the education system to the brink of destruction. And we will bring back the lost charm of the destroyed education system, inshallah.
In the event, 5 teachers were given posthumous honors and 22 teaching staff were given chalks and crests worth Tk 1.4 lakh 69 thousand.
