Illegal ring nets seized in Porsha

Illegal ring nets for fishing have been seized in Punarbhaba River in Bala Shahid area of Porsha Nitpur border of Naogaon.
These nets were seized in a joint operation of Porsha Police Station, 16 BGB Nitpur Camp patrol team and Fisheries Department on Thursday afternoon.
Fisheries Officer Shamim Reza and Naib Subedar Mahfuz along with the patrol team conducted an operation in Punarbhaba River 01 km south of BOP and seized 14 ring nets. Later, the seized ring nets were burned and destroyed..
