Iftar items distributed by As-Sunnah Foundation in Kalia

Kalia As-Sunnah Foundation in Narail distributed Iftar items on the occasion of Ramadan to stand by the poor, helpless, widows and uprooted people of the society.
This program was held at Kalia Central Eidgah Ground at 4 pm on Thursday and Iftar items were distributed among more than a hundred helpless families.
Khulna Divisional Sector Representative Masum Billah Shawon was present on behalf of As-Sunnah Foundation at the program. Also present were Mohtamim Mufti Shahidul Islam of Kalia Madrasa, Islamic Foundation Kalia Model Caretaker and As-Sunnah Foundation Kalia Volunteer KM Omar Faruk, As-Sunnah Foundation Kalia Upazila Volunteer Abdullah Al Mamun, Makarimul Akhlaq Madrasa Mohtamim Mufti Abdul Quader Gowhari and local dignitaries.
The Iftar package distributed included 1 kg of millet, 2 kg of chickpeas, 2 kg of lentils, 1 kg of sugar, 1 kg of dates and 1 liter of oil.
As-Sunnah Foundation is initially distributing Iftar items to 12,000 families across the country and plans to reach 30,000 families this year.
The attendees expressed hope that such initiatives will play an important role in standing by the poor people of the society.
