I10-day Bisic Entrepreneurship Fair, Youth Folk and Crafts Fair opens in Patuakhali

In keeping with the slogan 'small industry becomes big in nine days', a 10-day Bisik Entrepreneurship and Youth Folk and Craft Fair-2025 was inaugurated at Patuakhali at initiative of district administration and Bisik office.
On the morning of February 5 (Wednesday), the chief guest spoke at the opening ceremony of the fair at the DC Square ground, Patuakhali District Commissioner Abu Hasnat Mohammad Arefin, Additional District Commissioner (General) Jadav Sarkar in the chair and BCIC Assistant General Manager Md Alamgir Shikder, Superintendent of Police Md. Anwar Zahid, Civil Surgeon Dr. SM Kabir Hasan and BCIC Head Office spoke as special guests. Marketing Department General Manager Md. Jahangir Alam. Patuakhali Municipal BNP President Md. Kamal Hossain, Bangladesh Jamaat Islami Patuakhali District Branch Ameer Aad, Nazmul Ahsan and various princes and journalists of electronic media also gave greetings.
In 100 stalls of the fair, the small and medium entrepreneurs have arranged their products of woven sarees, lungis, towels, various jute products, pottery products, pithapuli and handicraft and cottage industry products. Every stall is crowded with visitors. Customers move from one stall to another to buy the desired product.
Every day from 10 am to 8 pm, the Bisik Udyok Mela will be open to all. Apart from this, there will be a fascinating cultural program every evening. Entrepreneurs told reporters that such an arrangement is for the promotion and spread of various locally produced products.
