A discussion meeting was held in the free market of Feni to protest against Indian aggression, building a democratic society and preventing the increase in commodity prices on Tuesday.

The meeting was chaired by Gias Uddin Bhuiyan, Convener of Progressive Citizens Council Feni and central chairman of Bangladesh NAP Bhasani, and it was moderated by Adv Imam Uddin Bhuiyan, General Secretary of Bhasani Anusari Parishad Feni. Shahid Uddin Mahmud Swapan, General Secretary of the National Socialist Party (JSD), addressed the gathering as the chief guest.

The main speaker was the Joint Secretary General of the Bhashani Anusari Parishad Central Committee, senior lawyer of Feni Bar, Adv Samir Chandra Kar.

The meeting was addressed by the General Secretary of JSD Feni District Branch, Adv Shamsuddin Majumder Sacchu, Convener of Trade Union Sangha Feni, Nasiruddin Bhuiyan Sabuj, Mashiur Rahman Milon, Adv Mohammad Elias, Akramuzzaman Patwari Liton, Labour leader Md. Yahia Khan, and leaders of various local laborers and labor organizations.

Shahid Uddin Mahmud Swapan said that from learning the contribution of students in the July Revolution in 24, we must build society by capturing the spirit of the July Revolution, if we cannot capture July August, if we cannot capture the spirit and thoughts of the students, our nation will suffer, such movements and struggles will not come again in the world, the July Movement is a revolution and a milestone for the liberation of the people, he called on everyone to come forward to build society by capturing the July Revolution.
