Dohazari Press Club protested the threat of death to the General Secretary of Satkania Press Club and Executive Member of Dohazari Press Club, Mohammad Jahed Hossain, by Delwar Hossain Mintu, the son of the chairman of Kaliaish Union, who allegedly planned to kill Kritisantan Sajjad of Dohazari.

A human chain program was held in front of the center at 11 am on Chittagong- Coxbazar Road.

Organizational Editor Mohammad Shahidul Islam, Mohammad Kamrul Islam Mostafa, Mohammad Arfat Hossain, Arifur Islam, Amin Ullah Tipu, Ayub Miyazi, Mohammad Nazrul Islam Kaliyashi and working journalists of print and electronic media spoke in the rally.

Shahida Akhtar, president of Dohazari Mahila Awami League, who was on behalf of the family of deceased Sajjat Hossain, including his elder brother SM Jamal Mahmud were also present.

The speakers in the human chain demanded the arrest of the Sajjad killer and those who threatened the death of journalist Zahid Hossain within the next 48 hours to the police of Satkania police station and the concerned administration. Otherwise the journalists of South Chittagong will be forced to give more programs.
