Motorcyclist killed after being hit by truck in Bhuapur

A college student named Mehedi Hasan Mishu (17) who was riding a motorcycle was killed by a truck in Tangail's Bhuyapur.
The accident happened on Friday at around 12:00 in the upazila's kostapara area.
The deceased is the son of Rafiqul Islam Molla, a school teacher of Mehedi Koera village. He was a student of 11th class humanities department of Ghatail Cantonment Public School and College. Local UP member Rubel Mia confirmed the incident.
According to family sources, Mehedi Hasan was returning from Bhuyapur to Koera on a motorcycle at midnight on Friday. On the way, a truck hit the motorcycle from behind when it reached kostapara area of Bhuyapur-Bangabandhu bridge road. Mehndi fell on the side of the road.
Later the locals rescued him and took him to Bhuyapur Upazila Health Complex. The doctor on duty shifted him to Tangail General Hospital as his condition was serious. Mehdi died on the way to Dhaka Medical College Hospital from there.
Bhuapur police station OC Ahsan Ullah said that he is not aware of the accident.
