Human chain demanding removal of Askar Ali High School Headmaster in Gafargaon

Locals have formed a human chain in Gafargaon, Mymensingh, accusing Askar Ali High School headmaster Nur Alam Siddiqui of embezzlement, corruption and irregularities and protesting the secret formation of the school's managing committee to legitimize these irregularities.
The human chain was organized by people from all walks of life of Usthi Union in front of the school at 11 am on Saturday. A large number of students, guardians and conscious locals participated in it.
The speakers said that Nur Alam Siddiqui has been embezzling money from various school funds for a long time, engaging in nepotism in teacher recruitment, irregular administrative activities and corruption. Locals are facing threats whenever they protest against his irregularities.
They further alleged that Nur Alam Siddiqui has secretly formed a managing committee using political influence to legitimize these corruptions, in which the opinions of the locals have been ignored.
The speakers in the human chain demanded the removal of headmaster Nur Alam Siddiqui, the formation of an impartial investigation committee, and keeping the school environment normal and transparent. Jubo Dal leader Zahid Hasan Mukut, Jubo Dal Union President Gedu Member, Ripon Mia, Lal Mia, Shafiqul Islam, among others, were present at the time.
The locals have drawn the attention of the education administration and the concerned authorities to take immediate action in this regard.
