Ashashuni dialogue demands solution on water crisis

A crucial dialogue convened in Ashashuni on Monday, bringing together government officials,public representatives, and concerned citizens to address the escalating water crisis plaguing the region. The event, held at The Upazila Parishad Conference hall was organized by NGO Uattarn and the Ashashuni Upazila Water Committee .
The dialogue was upazila executive officer Krishna Roy as the chief guest and Alhaj Amin, President of the Upazila Water Committee and former president, presiding over the session.Project officer Dilip Kumar Sanna attended as a speical guest.
Speaker including lecturer Yahia Iqbal, GM Mujibur Rahman, Amir Hossian Badsha, Kamrunnahar Rina and Monir hossain, highlighted the urgent need to tackle waterlogging, river dredging, inter river connectivity, Coastal embankment deployment, sustainable water development.
