Girl Guides Association meeting held in Natore

A meeting was held in Natore with head teachers and assistant teachers of government primary schools to discuss the expansion of the Halde Pakhi (Cub) program on  Monday. 
 
 Bangladesh Girl Guides Association, Natore Sadar Upazila Branch, organized this exchange of views at their office in Mir Para, Natore town. The chief guest at the meeting was Natore Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Akhtar Jahan Sathi. The special guest was Sadar Upazila Primary Education Officer Noor-Un-Nahar Rubina. The chief guest, the Upazila Executive Officer, stated in her speech that the foundation of Rover Scouts is the Cub or Halde Pakhi program. Practical education from the primary level must be acquired through their textbooks. They need to be taught while learning. To expand the Halde Pakhi program, an eight-point action plan should awaken values and strengthen their foundation to become individuals with humane qualities. There is no alternative in the present time.  The meeting was chaired by the local Sadar Upazila Commissioner Tapasi Bhattacharya. Speeches were delivered by District Commissioner Kamrun Nahar, Head Teacher of Bara Harishpur Government Primary School Layla Arjumanara, Guide members Mahmuda Begum, Kulsum Begum, and others. Additionally, head teachers and assistant teachers from various government primary schools were present at the meeting.
