Free seeds, fertilizers distributed to 300 farmers in Boalkhali

Aus paddy incentives have been distributed to 300 farmers in Boalkhali, Chattogram. As part of a seasonal agricultural program, the Department of Agricultural Extension provided free seeds and fertilizers to encourage the cultivation and increased production of Aus paddy during the Kharif-1 season.
The incentive distribution ceremony was held on Wednesday (April 23) at the Upazila Parishad premises, with UNO Muhammad Rahmat Ullah presiding over the event. Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Atiq Ullah delivered the welcome speech.
Each farmer received 5 kg of Ufshi paddy seeds, 10 kg of DAP fertilizer, and 10 kg of MOP fertilizer as part of the initiative.
Also present at the event were Upazila Plant and Seed Conservation Officer Tapan Kanti De, Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officers Soumitra De, Shibu Kanti Nath, Lakshman Kumar Karan, Faridul Alam, Joynal Abedin, Supriya Chowdhury, and Manzoor Morshed.
