Field Day on Suppression Management celebrated in Sylhet

Farmer training on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) in rice was conducted as part of Field Day on Pest Control Management in Rice by Reducing Use of Pesticides and Safe Crop Management programme.
The training was held on Saturday (November 23) at Dashal village of Sylhet's Dakshin Surma upazila by the Department of Entomology, Bangladesh Rice Research Institute Gazipur.
Department of Entomology, Br: Gazipur under the management of S and Tapan Kumar Roy and Department of Entomology, Br: Gazipur Head, CSO (Additional Charge) Md. Under the chairmanship of Mosaddek Hossain, the Chief Guest was present - Department of Entomology, Bri: PSO Dr. Mo Najmul Bari.
Dr. PS and Department of Entomology. ABM Anwar Uddin, PSO and Chief, Bri Habiganj Dr. Hirendranath Burman, SO and Head, Bri Satellite Station Sylhet Abu Naeem were present here as Special guest.
