Embodied ansar trainee selection begins under strict rules in Rajshahi Range

The candidate selection process for the fundamental training of Embodied Ansar members under the Bangladesh Ansar and VDP commenced at the Rajshahi Smriti Stadium on Sunday, aiming to recruit physically fit and qualified personnel through a transparent procedure.
A total of 1,361 candidates from eight districts under the Rajshahi Range—Rajshahi, Joypurhat, Naogaon, Pabna, Natore, Bogura, Sirajganj, and Chapainawabganj—participated in the initial screening drives held under structured supervision.
To maintain operational transparency and discipline, selection boards subjected applicants to multi-tier evaluations. The initial phase comprised physical height measurements and preliminary health screenings, followed by rigorous physical fitness assessments including running tests, side jumps, high jumps, and push-ups.
Candidates successfully clearing the physical drills subsequently underwent primary medical examinations alongside written and oral tests. Meeting predetermined benchmarks at each stage remained mandatory, with failing candidates disqualified from advancing to subsequent rounds.
