Marking the birthday of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, the "Zia Smriti Pathagar" of Feni organized a social welfare program on Saturday afternoon distributing educational materials and cash stipends among underprivileged and distressed students in Kalidah union of Feni Sadar upazila.

Held in a festive atmosphere at the Kolghar area, the event featured BNP National Executive Committee Member Md. Mashiur Rahman Biplob as the chief guest.

Presided over by Zia Smriti Pathagar President and Kalidah Union BNP Organizing Secretary Nurul Alam Sabuj and conducted by former Feni Government College Chhatra Dal Convener Abdul Halim Manik, the program was attended by prominent local political and social figures.

Speakers at the event emphasized that encouraging young students in their studies and standing by their side is the ultimate expression of affection for Khaleda Zia. They urged organizers to move beyond conventional political programs and continue undertaking such people-oriented welfare initiatives.

During the program, essential educational supplies—including new school bags, books, notebooks, and pens—along with financial assistance of Tk 1,000 in cash per student, were handed over to 50 underprivileged and impoverished students from Kalidah and Dhalia unions.

Zia Smriti Pathagar President Nurul Alam Sabuj noted that the organization plans to further expand its educational and humanitarian outreach in the area.

Special guests included Sadar Upazila BNP Member Secretary Aman Uddin Kayser Sabbir, District BNP Member Nur Hossain Selim, Sadar Upazila BNP Office Secretary Engineer Saiful Haque, District Krishak Dal Organizing Secretary Faruk Ullah Majumdar Murad, Kalidah Union BNP President Nurul Haque Liton, General Secretary Munshi Sirajul Islam, Senior Joint Secretary Kazi Golam Kibria Russell, District Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal Member Fakhruddin Bhuiyan, and Sadar Upazila Swechchhasebak Dal Joint Convener Sirajul Islam Suman, alongside other local dignitaries.
