East West Media Group Ltd clinches best tax payer award

East West Media Group Limited (EWMGL) has been honoured with the prestigious Best Tax Payer Award in the Print and Electronic Media category in commendable recognition of fiscal responsibility.
Chairman of the National Board of Revenue (NBR), Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem, presented this esteemed award during the tax card and award ceremony held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in the capital on Wednesday.
Head of the accounts department at East West Media Group, Fuad Hasan, graciously received the award on behalf of the organisation, marking a significant moment for their commitment to financial transparency and contribution to the national exchequer.
In addition to East West Media Group, other notable organisations recognised in the best taxpayer category within the print and electronic media sectors include MediaStar Limited, Somoy Media Limited, and Times Media Limited.
The collective efforts of these entities underscore the vital role played by the media industry in contributing to the nation’s economic development.
The event was graced by the presence of Md Khairuzzaman Mozumder, Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, who attended as a special guest.
