DU Chemistry Department's fresher, farewell reception held

The fresher and farewell reception ceremony of the Department of Chemistry, Dhaka University was held on Sunday at TSC Auditorium.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan spoke as the chief guest at the event.
The event was presided over by Departmental Chairman Professor Dr. Md. Kamrul Ehsan, and Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof Dr. Saima Haque Bidisha was present as the special guest. In addition, Prof Dr. Kawsari Akhtar, Associate Prof Dr. Sayka Ahmed and Associate Prof Md. Kamrul Hasan spoke.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan extended his warmest greetings to the fresher students and wished the outgoing students success in their future lives, saying that the Department of Chemistry is one of the traditional departments of Dhaka University.
He called on the teachers and students of the department to spread the reputation of Dhaka University in the international arena through research.
