Doa Mahfil held in Mymensingh for July martyrs, injured fighters

A doa mahfil was held on Saturday morning to pray for the souls of the July martyrs and for the recovery of the injured fighters of the July uprising.
The commemorative event took place at 11:00 AM at the Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) office, located adjacent to the Mymensingh Kachari Mosque, under the initiative of the Mymensingh district branch of the 11-party Oikyajote.
The programme was presided over by Advocate A.T.M. Mahbub ul Alam, convener of the district Nagorik Party, while Mymensingh District Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Md. A. Karim attended as the chief guest.
The event began with a recitation of the Holy Quran by Mukarram Adnan. Following discussion sessions, special prayers were offered seeking eternal peace for the martyrs and good health for those injured during the July movement.
Other speakers included Metropolitan Jamaat-e-Islami Nayeb-e-Ameer Asaduzzaman Sohel, District Jamaat-e-Islami General Secretary Md. Mozammel Haque, Khelafat Majlish Mymensingh Metropolitan Branch General Secretary Mostaq Ahmed, District Nagorik Party Joint Member Secretary Masud Rana, and District Yuboshakti Convener Faisal Farnim. The father of July martyrs Sagar and Fahim was also present at the gathering.
The programme was moderated by Md. Jasim Uddin, member secretary of the district Nagorik Party.
