A discussion meeting on climate change risks and actions was held with the cooperation of Bashundhara and the initiative of Shubasangh at Fakirhat in Bagerhat on Monday noon in Fakirhat Banful Secondary School auditorium with more than three hundred students on climate change risk and what to do to overcome it.

Shubosangh Fakirhat upazila branch president Animesh Kumar Majumdar presided over it.

Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Principal of Bonful Secondary School, was present as the chief guest in the meeting. Vipul Vipul Roy Chowdhury, President of Khulna District Shubosangh, was the special guest. Halima Khatun, joint general secretary of Shubo Sangh presented the program.

Sheikh Nasir Uddin, assistant principal of the school, Manna Dey, Fakirhat representative of Kal Kanth and Shubo Sangh advisor, Syeda Rashmi, Shubo Sangh advisor, senior teachers Dulal Krishna Raha, Nimai Krishna Das, Maulana Abdur Rab, Sheikh Abdur Rab, Mohammad Zillur Rahman , Ismat Jahan, Kavita Dash, Aliza Sultana were present.

In the program, the speakers discussed the risks of climate change and discussed the guidelines for the transition.

Khulna District Shubosangh president Bipul Roy Chowdhury in his speech highlighted the threat of climate change and gave various guidelines for transition. Students expressed solidarity with him. He gave more importance to plantation of trees.

Headmaster Sheikh Mujibur Rahman expressed his gratitude to Shubasangh. He said in his speech, students should realize the importance of environmental disaster and they should play a strong role to overcome it.

He highlighted the similarity and damage of Bangladesh's environmental disaster with the environmental disaster of different countries among the students.
