A discussion meeting was held on the premises of Hapania School in Atgharia, organized by former grassroots activists of the Chandva Union BNP recently.

The meeting aimed to boost the organizational activities of the Chandva Union BNP, strengthen unity among grassroots activists, identify and resolve local issues, formulate current and future party strategies, and finalize the candidate for the UP Chairman post. Advocate ATM Abdus Sattar Biswas, former Organizing Secretary of Ishwardi Upazila BNP, addressed the gathering as the chief guest.

Presided over by former UP member and senior BNP leader Hannan Ali, the event featured speeches by special guests—senior former grassroots BNP leaders including Mokbul Hossain Pramanik, Kalam Biswas, Khalek Member, Faruk Hossain, Idris Ali Mollah, Lutfar Rahman, Abdul Khalek, Arshed Ali Montu, Abdul Halim, Abdus Sattar, Eskendar Ali, and Tara Mia. Leaders from various professions and backgrounds, along with village heads from nearly all the villages, were present at the event.

During the meeting, the name of former UP member and BNP leader Hannan Ali was announced as the chairman candidate for the upcoming Chandva Union Parishad election, and he received a show of hands in support.

In his address, Hannan Ali said, "If you elect me as chairman, InshaAllah, I will stand by you and work for the overall development of the area." Expressing his desire to transform Chandva Union into a model union, he added, "If you vote for me and ensure my victory, I will remain by your side through happiness, sorrow, danger, and distress—InshaAllah."
