Discussion, prayer held on July Uprising at DU Muslim Hall

On the occasion of the second anniversary of the historic July Uprising, a commemorative discussion meeting and prayer meeting in memory of the July Revolution and the Student Uprising was organized by Salimullah Muslim Hall of Dhaka University on Friday evening, at the hall auditorium. Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam was present as the chief guest at the event.
The function was presided over by the Hall's Provost Prof Dr. Md. Abdus Salam, while Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Prof Dr. Abdus Salam and Pro-Vice Chancellor (Admin) Prof Dr. Mohammad Almojaddidi Alfesani spoke as special guests. National University Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Md. Lutfar Rahman spoke as the keynote speaker. Dean of the Faculty of Science Prof Dr. Md. Mofazzal Hossain and VP of the Hall Sangsad Md. Zaedul Haque participated in the discussion. 6 residential students of the Hall reminisced about the July Uprising. GS of the Hall Sangsad Saadman Abdullah conducted the function.
At the event, 8 winners of the quiz competition titled 'July Revolution and Student Uprising' were awarded.
