In response to the persistent rains, flooding, and natural disasters over the past few days, cooked food has been distributed twice daily to over a hundred waterlogged families in the Narisha West Para and Dakshin Para Baitul Jabbar Jame Mosque areas of Dohar Upazila.

This humanitarian initiative was led by Engineer Dr. Manjurul Alam Shamim Bepari, a native of Narisha Arif Shikdar.

The distribution was held on Thursday afternoon in the Narisha West Para Dakshin Para and North Para areas, providing relief to those stranded by the floodwaters. Local public representatives and prominent figures were present to support the expatriates' humanitarian efforts. The waterlogged residents expressed deep gratitude for the timely support and food assistance during such a difficult time.

Monirul Alam Jibon Bepari, Senior Vice-President of Dohar Upazila BNP, stated that incessant rains and floods have caused severe waterlogging in Narisha West Para and Dakshin Para, bringing daily life to a standstill and forcing many helpless families to live in sub-human conditions. Under the directives of Khandaker Abu Ashfaq, Member of Parliament for Dhaka-1 and President of Dhaka District BNP, the Upazila administration has stood by these disaster-affected individuals.

Concurrently, through the management of local expatriates and political leaders, food assistance consisting of cooked meals twice a day is being provided to 300 flood-affected and waterlogged families in Narisha Union. As part of this humanitarian effort initiated by Engineer Dr. Manjurul Alam Shamim Bepari, emergency food and aid have been distributed since July 13 in the Narisha West Para, Narisha, Narisha Joyar, and Narisha North Para areas, with financial support provided by local expatriates and political leaders.

Senior Vice-President of Dohar Upazila BNP Monirul Alam Jibon Bepari, Dr. Engineer Manjurul Alam Shamim Bepari, BNP leaders Akhtaruzzaman Sohel Bepari, Nur Amin Shikdar, Mamun Bepari, Omar Farooq Parosh, Shahadat Hossain Babu, Hashem Bepari, Fazlu Bepari, Md. Yusuf Ali, and Awal Shikdar, among others were present.
