The construction of the bridge worth Tk 5.75 lakh 5 thousand 20 in the river Arapangasia has not completed in five years.

It is alleged that the then MP of Barguna-1 constituency, Adv Dhirendra Debnath Shambhu, sub-contractor Md. Sagir Hossain left the year after the year. Sub-contractor Md. Sagir Hossain said, "I have started construction of the bridge." Hopefully the work will be completed within a short period of time.

Amtali Upazila Engineer Md. Idris Ali said the contractor Sagir Hossain was asked to finish the construction of the bridge quickly. If it does not work quickly, action will be taken against him. Barguna Local Government Engineering Department Executive Engineer Md. Mehdi Hassan said that the work on the Gadar Bridge of the Artangasia river has been stopped for a long time but now the contractor has started work. Hopefully this time the bridge will be done.
